Policies and Agreements

  • All deposits are non-refundable and must be paid when an appointment is scheduled.
  • Hair must be thoroughly washed, detangled, and blow-dried upon arrival. If hair is not washed, blowdried, and detangled you will have to reschedule and be asked to pay half your balance. The other half will be paid at the later rescheduled date. This is non-negotiable.
  • Hair must be at least 3 inches long for all styles. Please avoid fresh trims before your appointment, as it makes it harder to braid and the style less seamless. (trims are okay for loc styles)
  • Please notify the stylist of any scalp conditions or allergies to any hair or hair products. Please contact the stylist no more than 48 hours in advance so accommodations can be made. If you have any severe scalp conditions such as Head lice, ringworm, dermatitis, etc., please do not schedule an appointment. Instead, see a dermatologist or hair care professional. If you show up with any of these conditions, you will be turned away and asked to pay a $50 fee.
  • If you are late, there will be a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes you will be charged an additional $25 late fee. After 30 minutes you will have to pay half your balance and be asked to reschedule. The remaining balance will be paid at the rescheduled appointment.
  • If you need to cancel, there is a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the initial scheduled appointment. If there is a last-minute cancellation, you will be asked to pay half your balance. There will be an opportunity to reschedule, however, the deposit for the style will need to be paid again. This is non-negotiable.
  • If you are not feeling well or have any of the following symptoms:
    • Body aches
    • Chills
    • Cough
    • Diarrhea
    • Fever
    • Headaches
    • Runny nose
    • Sneezing
    • Sore throat
    • Vomiting

    You may be suffering from common cold, flu, COVID, or other illness. We ask that you stay home and the stylist will work with you to reschedule your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment due to illness, you are still responsible for the $50 cancellation fee. If you come to your appointment with any of these symptoms, you will be turned away and asked to pay a $50 cancellation fee.

  • If your appointment is canceled or rescheduled by the stylist, there will be no fee necessary. The stylist will work with you to reschedule and a deposit will not have to be paid again.
